New List File And Archive Formats Now Available
I-Blocklist has launched a major new feature that allows lists to be available in various file and archive format combinations. The file formats for IP address lists now available include P2P, DAT, and CIDR uncompressed and compressed in the archive formats GZ, ZIP, and 7z. Additional file and archive formats will be supported in the future.
Two Subscriber Features Made Public
I-Blocklist has decided to make two features that were available only by subscription available to everyone. The first feature now public is the ability to see what lists users most often use together. The second feature is seeing range and ip count history for IP address lists. Both of these features are available on the list pages.
PeerBlock
I-Blocklist is proud to announce its support of PeerBlock.
A team lead by Mark Bulas has forked PeerGuardian2 under the name PeerBlock and in recent months made great progress towards a stable IP blocking software.
PeerBlock solves many of the problems that have plagued PeerGuardian2, especially on Vista and Windows 7.
