I use Cox as my ISP. Can you help me understand what this list would be used for? If someone did not want to associate with Cox in any way?

This list would be used for blocking or allowing known Cox IPs.

Odd! I have cox, they are very lax about p2p infringements.
I was actually told in an email to "turn upload speed to zero before continuing downloading." They don't seem to really care about what you're downloading so much as what you're spreading.

Its about time... people have been asking some rather stupid questions, again and again.

You might want to add into your explanations on the recommended for the user or not that you generally are implying that people will be blocking said list. That they are part of. Other than that I really don't know what people need to stop asking the same questions over and over... Might look into a flashing blinker don't block your own ISP or area will have problems using the internet when you are trying to disable it..

Works very well. Cox is blocked. I've been getting hammered with UDP and IPv6 pings and all is blocked.. Very happy. Been nailed 5 times and this is my last chance, one more and I'm banned. So far so good.

I copied the address and put it in the URL box and pressed add, then it said verification failed. I have no idea what I did wrong. Ugh, I'm such a noob. Help a girl out. :)

Nevermind... I figured it out. HawHaw. Silly me. As for Cox Comm. Will they know I am blocking them and wonder why I am trying to stay under the radar and all?

Your ISP can see all connections to/from the internet that are not encrypted.
