List Comments

CosMiChaos:

This is kinda bastard-style. Since you provide your own VPN you added various other VPNs services ip-ranges to the a-p2p level 1 list. I cant believe you did that i.e. for IPredator, BTGuard and continue that for generic VPSs. You fool the people, you create connectivity problems within p2p, you run people in trouble disconnecting to their VPN showing their real IP. I will not renew my subscription.

@ CosMiChaos

I think you should take your head out of your ass for a moment, and you might understand that I-Blocklist is the distributor of this list but not the author.

I-Blocklist does not control what is or is not in this list.

I-Blocklist has never added any address to any list for any reason other then it matching the criteria for that list.

Your comment is here for this list.

If you care to report an error in a list then you need to be specific with what address and list you are referring to.

Hate to interrupt all this high level chit-chat, but I just want to let the guy who's head seems to be on top on his shoulders every time I need to access some of the knowledge it contains that my issue with the 'cannot connect to URL:400' issue for this list started working when I switched Wi-Fi networks. Wow, that was a mouthful.

Now it is downloading at hyper-speed! ...and I hope that's because the network is just kickin'a__ ...uh, ... 'somebody's sore place' and not because of things I don't even want to think about.

I am not sure what your problem/question is.

Herb:

Was just an update to an earlier question which, somehow, 'slipped into the ether' about getting a 'cannot connect to URL: 400 error' on attempting to download this list. It went away when I changed networks. And, as a matter of fact, began downloading pretty damn fast on the new one.

The rest was only a *KUDOS for you, who as far as I'm concerned, is one of the few one man support teams that maintains a **CULO that is relatively **CABEZA free.

...the opposite of which was suggested by an earlier misaligned, somewhat chaotic entry.

@MrBrownSound

You need to contact the list author with any questions about the contents of a list.

You can disable HTTP blocking if you do not want websites blocked.

You can allow any IP you need in your IP blocker.

If you believe an address does not belong in a list you should contact the list author directly.

No that is not how it works.

You need to contact the author of a list directly about the contents of a list.
You also need to substantiate your claims.

What are you actually trying to do?

This list contains at least some of the IPs for League of Legends servers (side question: perhaps they shouldn't be in the list? Idk, but I'll link it at the bottom), and I tried making a whitelist of those IPs, but that didn't work. I feel like there should be a way to prioritize lists that conflict, such as a whitelist and a blacklist that share IPs, but that's obviously lazy and doesn't seem to be how Peerblock works. So how do more educated people solve this "I like using this list as a blacklist, but it blocks a coupe of things I need" problem?
And in case those IPs aren't supposed to be in there, here's the link so you can check it out:

@ N00bz0r

#1
Any concerns about the contents of a list need to be addressed directly with the list author.
I-Blocklist does not modify the contents of the list and those that do don't read these comments.

#2
PeerBlock does allow an address if it is in an allow list even if the address is also in a block list.
You are either not allowing the addresses correctly or additional addresses need to be allowed to use whatever service.

Guys, why is IPredator appears in this list? It's owned by TPB owners themselves and its not related to AP2P.
I'm also sure that IPredator guys wouldn't let people use their services for AP2P purposes.

OK, so I'm using qBittorrent in a Linux distro. It won't work with an archive like gz or zip. I can use .p2p though. So how the heck do I get a .p2p file I can stick in a folder so that I can load it in IP Filtering?
