When blocking HTTP, you are blocking websites, who's IP's are in the list(s).
Example: When using the "Default P2P List" ( level1 list ) and are blocking HTTP, you can't load www.cnn.com , as it's IP's are in the "Default P2P List".
You can Allow HTTP while surfing the internet, and Block HTTP when done.

When you block entire countries especially the US then you will be blocking many websites.
If you want to continue to block countries but not have websites affected then I suggest disabling HTTP blocking.
